Australian Masters Championships

Highly supported with a great number of participants. Racers from all over the Country gather at Perisher for 2 days of GS, SL and SG racing – competitors have an emphasis on fun whilst still giving their best performance in this competitive race. This year it is held at Perisherblue in NSW. Training is available with the Perisher Masters and strongly suggested for the speed events. Check the Perisher web site for further details. It all comes down to this! The highlight of the Masters race season calendar, the Australian Masters Championships will see competitors take on challenging courses in the disciplines of Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super-G.

This years championships will offer high-quality ski competition over two days and competitors will test their training and skills and prove whether they’ve got what it takes to win the national titles.

When: 7 & 8 September 2019

Who: Masters Ski & Snowboard Racers. Ages 30+  

Age Categories are as follows; 

30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75-79 / 80 and over.

Thredbo Masters

Details: Held at Thredbo each year, Attracting masters races from all over the country, great event with presentation, the races include a GS and a SuperG held on the Rossi Race course run. The races are normally held on the last weekend of July and a training camp is run during the week leading up to the races. check the Thredbo web site for more details

It’s on again for those 30 and above, to don the race suit and head to Thredbo to compete in the iconic Thredbo Masters event. With a multitude of age’s groups, take on your peers to be crowned the Master of Thredbo.

Medals will be award for each gender and age category :
30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75+
Handicap scoring system to equate gender and age.

Perisher Masters

Held at Guthega each year, Attracting masters races from all over the country, great event with presentation, consisting of 3 race’s, a Super G run from the top of Guthega, a GS normally held on Mother inlaw and a Slalom race to finish things off . The race is normally held around the first week of August, a training camp is run during the week leading upto the race. check the Perisherblue web site for more details.
